Interns
At Parent-Child Interaction Center, we have partnered with several local universities to provide learning opportunities to future therapists. Please inquire at admin@p-cic.com if you have an interest of pursuing an internship with our practice.
Interns can provide therapy for reduced or no cost to you.
Chase Graboyes-Reed
Chase is a Master’s level intern at The Parent Child Interaction Center and intends on working towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Colorado after finishing graduate school in 2025. Chase earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 2017 and then attended massage therapy school, obtaining his massage therapy license in 2019. It was through these experiences that he discovered how impactful authentic human connection
and candid conversation can be in our lives, which fueled his determination to further his education.
Chase is open to working with individuals, couples, and families of all backgrounds, ages, and relationship styles. When you step into his therapy room, you can expect to be met with openness, empathy, and friendliness, as well as a therapist who brings his genuine self into each session. His therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various modalities, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Brainspotting (BSP), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), and Play Therapy, while often incorporating elements of Mindfulness into his work.
Chase has completed specific trainings in Brainspotting (Phases 1 and 2, and is currently working toward certification) and Emotionally Focused Therapy. In 2025, he will participate in Level 1 training for the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT).
Outside the office, Chase enjoys quality time with his life partner and their golden retriever. You might also find him reading, exercising, or roasting coffee beans in the beautiful Colorado sun.
